We started our journey back home on Friday at 8:45. The shuttle took us back to the airport. The flight from Vancouver to Toronto took off at 1:30 pm. We landed in Toronto at about 8:30 (local time). As you have to pay for food onboard on domestic flights within Canada, we ate nothing during the flight, and when we got to Toronto, guess what? We were starving… We just had enough time for a sandwich and it was time again (10:40 pm) to finally get our flight to Sao paulo. It was about noon when we got to SP, but that was not the end of our journey…We still had to fly to Rio… Eventually, at 7 pm, we got to Rio. Our families were there waiting for us…

Students went snowboarding and skiing at the home of the 2010 Winter Olympics. As soon as they got to Whistler, they had a hands-on lesson with local instructors. After that, they started giving it a try, and then I realized they were good at that and had been snowboarding and skiing in one of the highest mountains in Whistler. I couldn’t believe my eyes!!!
We have also visited the Squamish Museum. This Cultural centre celebrates the unique culture of their two ancient aboriginal nations, the Squamish and Lilwat.
